We all want to feel safe. This is especially true in sport environments, where athletes at every level should be empowered to learn, grow, thrive, and reap the full benefits of sport participation.
The U.S. Center for SafeSport puts athlete well-being first by providing powerful resources so everyone can learn to prevent, recognize, and respond to abuse and misconduct in all sport settings. The Center offers more than a dozen in-depth online trainings to make sure sport leaders, coaches, volunteers, administrators, and others have the knowledge and skills to help keep sport free of abuse.
The SafeSport® Trained Core online course is required within the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Movement and is a must-see for anyone with a role in sport. This easy-to-follow, interactive training gives a comprehensive view of guiding principles and strategies to help create safer and more positive sport environments. It includes realistic scenarios to test a learner’s knowledge and provides an ability to begin to apply course learnings to real-life settings.
