Host your own Jr. Home Run Derby for a chance to showcase your local youth baseball or softball talent at MLB All-Star Week.

It’s easier than you think — and it’s free.

The day of the competition, just mark the field fences with chalk, paint or cones — 150 feet for softball, 200 feet for baseball. 

Each player gets 25 swings or 3 minutes to hit as many home runs as possible. 

The top two from each age group then go head to head in round two. 

Submit your scores to MLB. Winners advance to a regional qualifier. Then, it’s a chance to win an all-expense paid trip to MLB All-Star Week to compete in the National Finals. 

Your competition needs to be held by the end of PLAY BALL Weekend in June
